Hello everyone! Today I will be reviewing my Neutrogena Oil-Free Cleansing Wipes, specifically the pink grapefruit ones. And then I will be sharing my Sephora loot that I ordered, which I blogged about here. I didn't want to wait until the weekend, because I was too excited to share! So first we will begin with the Neutrogena Oil-Free Cleansing Wipes!
So, I picked these wipes up in the drug store because I needed something quick and easy to take off my makeup when I'm too lazy to go through my whole night skin care shebang. They are oil-free and made for acne-prone skin, so I thought these would be terrific for my skin. However, I was less than satisfied with these wipes. Firstly, the grapefruit scent is extremely perfumey, and makes me choke a bit when I use them. As well, I find they burn my skin, but not in a getting-all-the-dirt-out way, just an irritation to the skin. However, they do get the job done, and so since I have been broke the past little while, I have put up with them until now. Perhaps maybe if I had gotten plain wipes and not grapefruit or ones for combination skin it may have been different, but I was underwhelmed by these wipes. However, my Korres one arrived in my Sephora loot today, so I will be putting these aside for the time being!
Any facial wipes you would recommend? Have you tried any Neutrogena wipes in the past?
And now onto my Sephora loot!
I had to get four separate orders due to my four individual prepaid visa's, but that made it more exciting! I had four packages to open!
Here is all the loot on the table!
Each of the boxes came with an envelope which had eight postcards with samples of perfume on the back! I've been itching to start being a penpal with someone, so these might come in handy! (Any takers?) They are the top selling scents at Sephora including my most wanted perfume of the moment - Prada Candy L'Eau!
Next I got the Korres Milk Proteins Cleansing & Make-up Removing Wipes for Face and Eyes, meant for normal to dry skin. Because of the skin sensitivity issues I was discussing earlier, I thought these would be especially suitable for me, because they sound as though they will be especially gentle on my skin! I'm hoping that despite my skin being combination that they will still get the job done!
These are two free samples that I didn't order! I was so excited that I got a few extra samples! The one on the left is the PhytoSpecific Moisturizing Styling Cream with Quinoa oil. It's meant for ultra-dry hair, but I will still give it a chance after my next shower before curling my hair and let you know what I think!
The one of the right is the Clinique even better eyes dark circle corrector. I am SUPER excited to try this product, and should I love it, I will definitely be purchasing it! I love Clinique and already own an eye serum that works wonder at removing my under eye puffiness, so I am expecting great results from this!
Next I got four(!) free samples of the Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter, and can you believe I've never tried this?! I don't normally go for body butters, and I have relatively normal skin on my arms and legs, but I will definitely be giving this a try, and I LOVE Soap & Glory products, so I'm excited to try it out!
Next I got three perfume samples. I got Gucci Guilty Black, which I've already sampled and LOVED, and two of the La Vie Est Belle by Lancome. I'm not normally a Lancome fan per se, but it sounds really girly, so I'm hoping it smells great!
Then I got five Ole Henrikson samples total, and I'm not sure how I managed to get five in total, but I'm not complaining! I've heard lots of great things about Ole Henrikson products, so I'm looking forward to trying these two! The orange packaged one is the truth serum collagen booster which is a 'potent vitamin C complex to brighten. smooth and help the appearance of aging'. The pink packaged one is the express the truth cream that is 'a creme that helps fight the look of wrinkles with african red tea and vitamin C'.
The two nail polishes I got are the Ciate mini mineral effect in Rose Quartz and the Nails Inc. special effects sprinkles nail polish in pudding lane. They look like perfect spring colours, so I'm excited to try them!
This is the Clinique Clarifying Lotion 3 for combination/oily skin, and is the product I was most looking forward to! It's a toner, and my skin care routine currently lacks a toner so I'm excited to see the difference it makes to my skin!
I got two face cleansing products, which I am also excited to try. On the left is the Sephora brand Purifying cleansing gel perfectly clean. I've heard lots of great things about gel cleansers, so I'm looking forward to using it! And finally, I got the Clarins One-Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser with orange extract. Although I need an exfoliant that isn't "gentle", I'm still looking forward to what this will do for my skin!
Anyways, that is all. I hope you enjoyed this post!
Have you tried any of these products before? What were your thoughts?
Talk to you tomorrow!

Sephora Purchases
Hello everyone! So, unfortunately I couldn't combine the points on my card, so I couldn't get most of what I wanted from Sephora :( I was stuck spending $17 or less on each of my cards, but I still got a few cool things. Here is what I spent my money on.
So the first item I got was the Nails Inc. Special Effects Sprinkles Nail Polish in Pudding Lane. The Sephora site says it's "Teal with Navy and Gold Sprinkles". It's currently on sale for $7.
Next I for the Ciate Mini Paint Pot Nail Polish and Effects in Mineral Love described as "Sparkly soft pink with an edge of gold. It's currently being sold for $10. I thought both of the nail polishes would work fantastically as Spring nail colours!
I got the Sephora Collection Purifying Cleansing Gel currently on sale for $7. I went for a few skin care products, because Beauty Insiders receive 2x the points at the moment! I've never tried a gel, and I would have preferred a higher end brand, but I was forced into this by my gift cards, and so hopefully this works out!
Then I got the Clarins One-Step Gentle Exfoliating Facial Cleanser which for the 1.7 ounce product is currently $9. I would have preferred a not so gentle exfoliating scrub, but again, I was stripped of my ability to do so. Hopefully this still exfoliates my skin well.
I needed some facial wipes for those times when I'm feeling lazy, and it's a late night like tonight, and I'd rather not do my full skincare routine. I purchased the Korres Milk Proteins Cleansing & Make Up Removing Wipes over the Ole Henrikson, simply because they sound like they would be a lot gentler on the skin. I purchased them for $16.
The final product I got was the Clinique Clarifying Lotion 3, which is a clarifying toner meant for combination to oily skin. I did want to try this toner, and had to purchase it over the Caudalie Grape Water one due to price, although I do really want to purchase the grape water one. The 6.7oz bottle can be purchased for $16.
I got to choose free samples for all four purchases I made, but only really wanted to try five of them, and these are the ones I got.
The two fragrance samples I got were the Gucci Guilty Black and the Lancôme La Vie Est Belle. To be honest, I'm not too excited to try them, but I figured I'd give them a go. I got two Ole Henrikson product samples, which are the Ole Henrikson Truth Serum Vitamin C Collagen Booster, and the Ole Henrikson Express The Truth cream. I'm not too keen on trying the first, but pretty excited to see what the second will be like. The final sample I got was the Soap & Glory Face Soap and Clarity 3-In-1 Daily-Detox Vitamin C Facial Wash. Pretty excited to try this one - I love Soap & Glory products, so hopefully this one is a winner too!
If any of the samples sound exciting to you here are the links to the products on Sephora:
1. Gucci Guilty Black - $69 - $93
2. Lancôme La Vie Est Belle - $72 - $109
3. Ole Henrikson Truth Serum Vitamin C Collagen Booster - $60 - $90
4. Ole Henrikson Express The Truth - $81
5. Soap & Glory Face Soap and Clarity 3-In-1 Daily-Detox Vitamin C Facial Wash - Not available at Sephora in Canada - 6.50 Euros at Boots in the UK
That's all for today! When I've tried out these products I'll let you know how I get on! Hopefully I'll have something slightly more interesting for you tomorrow!

Winter Nail Polishes
Hello everyone!
So first, sorry for missing yesterday, I just had a down day and so put aside blogging for day. Second, I had really wanted to make this post into a youtube video, but as it turns out, my webcam is broken. I am really disappointed, but I thought I would share my winter nail polishes nonetheless since Spring is just around the corner, so once March hits I'll be completely revamping my nail polish choices!
Here is all of them together. I have one Revlon, one OPI, one Urban Outfitters, three Sally Hansen Insta-Dri, seven Essie colours, my Borghese Quick Dry Top Coat, and my Essie Millionails. All the details will be down below with the other pictures, and then I will link to individual nail polishes at the very bottom of the post!
Left to Right: Revlon in 925 Gold Coin; OPI in No Room For The Blues; Urban Outfitters in Chilly (one of my favourites, it has a thick consistency and so you can swipe one coat of it on, and wear it on it's own); Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in 270 Racy Rouge; 280 Rapid Red; Freeze. (I love Sally Hansen Insta-Dri and I wish they had more colours that I wanted! You're nails are done in ten minutes top, and all you need is one coat, and the larger brush makes for even faster and better application.)
Starting off my Essie's is 016 Waltz (I was actually quite disappointed, I wanted a really nice white colour for winter, but the formula of this nail polish is too liquidy, so it doesn't look super great when you've applied it, even after several coats); 696 Merino Cool; 608 In Stitches (both Merino Cool and In Stitches are also good Spring colours, so they will probably stick with me for another season!); 942 Penny Talk; 254 Raisinnuts; 400.
Next to Raisinnuts is 400 Bahama Mama (by far my favourite Essie colour thus far - goes on brilliantly, and the colour is amazing, you MUST get your hands on this colour; 784 Aruba Blue.
Then my Borghese Presto Fast Dry Coat, which is amazing, and dries really quickly; and my Essie Millionails, which I use fairly often, and yet haven't gone through much it seems - it really strengthens your nails and prevents chipping, peeling, and breaking which are all huge problems of mine... I give all of my probs to this little guy for enabling me to grow my nails after I stopped biting them!
Sorry for the cruddy picture quality, I really wish I could have filmed these today, so definitely check out the colours online!
Here are links to the colours:
1. Revlon
2. OPI
4. Essie
5. Borghese
Anyways, that's all for now, and I hope you enjoyed this little look into my nail polish collection!

Manicure Monday feat. Tuesday
So, I've decided to hop on the "Manicure Monday" train, but a day too late, so Manicure Monday will take place today! I think it'll really help me to keep up with my nails and try something new every once in awhile.
First I used my Body Shop Almond Hand & Nail cream to prep my hands and my nails. I find when you rub this cream into your nails, it leaves your nails feeling a lot healthier and stronger. You can find it here for $5 regularly $10.
These were the three products I used. First I used my Essie Millionails which makes my nails nice and tough and completely reduces breakage. If you click the links it is currently $10 on the Essie site. Then I used my Essie Aruba Blue nail laquer followed by the Borghese Presto Top Coat currently $4.99 on Amazon. The Aruba blue is described as a "frosty sapphire blue".
I apologize for the cruddy nail polish job, but I currently don't have any q tips to clean the edges of my nails, nor am I very good at painting my nails, my hands are not steady at all. However, hopefully this gives you somewhat of an idea of the colour. I don't think it goes very well with my skin tone, however, I do think it is a beautiful wintery colour, especially with -30 degree celcius weather outside. It's a shiny coat with a shimmery finish.
Here's the bottle for a little look-see.
And the colour.
Well, that's all for Mani Monday, but I thought I would share the candle I am currently burning as well.
It's "Cinnamon Frosting" from Bath & Body Works. It's the smallest size. I actually bought it because it was buy 3 get 3 free and I only have 5 candles so I grabbed the smallest size of this thinking "I probably won't like it, but I'll give a sweeter scent a go". I instantly fell in LOVE with this scent when I first started burning it. But when I went back, they had already stopped carrying it! I was so disappointed, and it will probably be finished burning by the end of the night. Anyways, this candle is what made me realize my affinity for sweeter smelling candles, and if you can ever get your hands on this candle I recommend it for sure!
Well, that's all for tonight! I'll talk to you tomorrow, and if you want OOTD's please follow me on Instagram!
